Stephanie is a medical entomologist, earning her PhD in Entomology from North Carolina State University, and BS and MS degrees in Biology and Environmental Health from East Carolina University (ECU). Stephanie has been an officer (past president, current treasurer) and board member of the North Carolina Mosquito and Vector Control Association since 2012. She received the Hamilton Stevens Award from NCMVCA for her contributions to the field for which she has devoted her entire professional career. She is currently a professor of environmental health at ECU.
